Reflective Rhythms is a podcast for children and families that explores the music history and human rights interests of communities of color. On this show, we do things a little differently. Rather than picking topics based on what we find interesting, we craft each episode around what YOU want to learn about!

All of the episodes on the site are based on community interests. Season one discusses the interests of CUMEP, an Afro-centric human rights and performing arts camp in Ithaca, NY. We look forward to hearing what you enjoy about Reflective Rhythms and can’t wait to hear your ideas for season two (check out our contact us page to get in touch)!

MARCH 2021 UPDATE: Reflective Rhythms is delighted to bring you two exciting updates! After the successful launch of our first season of episodes, we have now obtained fiscal sponsorship from Austin Creative Alliance. We are thrilled to partner with this amazing local organization. Working with ACA allows us to find funding and amazing collaborators for our second season of episodes. We are also now on podcast directories! Check us out on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, Castbox, Google Podcasts, Listen Notes, and Pocket Casts so you can subscribe and listen to us anywhere you go. We look forward to bringing you more quality content soon! In the meantime, feel free to contact us with anything you’d like to learn about.
